In the annual "Clubhouse of the Year" contest conducted by Golf Inc. Magazine, the clubhouse at Wuhan Yishan International Golf Club in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China won 1st Place.  The contest involves a panel of judges from within the golf industry and includes clubhouses from around the world.  Robbins & Associates helped in the site planning and site selection of the clubhouse as part of the design of the golf course and master planning.  We are proud to be a part of such a successful project that has already received numerous accolades since its opening last year.

_{^{As a Rick Robbins’design, Wuhan Yishan International Golf Club is the first 18 hole championship standard golf course in Central China Area. Wuhan Yishan impressed the PGA China Tour officials with its great golf strategy setting, transportation convenience and advanced service standard for hosting a renowned tournament. The way the course can be played with “firm and fast” fairways is unusual in China and something the PGA Tour prefers.  They also feel the greens complexes will present a good challenge for the players with a premium put on placing the approach shots in the right spot to be able to score well.}} 

“We are pleased to announce this very strong group of tournaments at first-class golf courses throughout China,” Paul Johnson, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President of International Affairs, said. “This Tour will identify future stars who will go on to play on the Web.com Tour and, eventually, the PGA TOUR, and these events will give our players a great opportunity to compete.”

武汉驿山国际高尔夫俱乐部，里克-罗宾斯签名球场，是华中地区首屈一指的国际锦标赛级球场。在美巡中国系列赛场地评估中，驿山高尔夫因其国际锦标赛水准的高尔夫球洞布局及品质，便利的交通和齐全的赛事和观赛服务设施深深打动赛事委员会，成为华中地区的赛事场地。驿山高尔夫有职业球友喜欢的“快而硬”球道区域，这种球道在中国并不常见，另外果岭区域布局将对球员提出挑战，只有落球在合适的区域进攻果岭，推杆发挥稳定的球手才能取得优势。

正如PGA国际事务部高级副总裁Paul Johnson说，“ 我们隆重地宣布,美巡中国系列赛所有赛事都将在中国一流的高尔夫球场进行，美巡中国赛最终将产生多位明日之星，这些高尔夫明星有望参加韦伯网巡回赛。通过这些赛事，我们的国内、外球员将有机会在高尔夫球场上一较高下。”

One is a renovation and addition of new greens at Hillandale Golf Club in Durham, NC for The First Tee. Another is a complete remodel of the practice putting, chipping and sand game areas at Prestonwood Country Club and the same thing for Echo Valley Country Club in Des Moines, Iowa. We will be helping to establish a Dan Campbell Golf Academy at Echo Valley as well. 

三个短杆练习项目分别为：为FIRST TEE改造北卡达拉姆 Hillandale高尔夫俱乐部新的果岭。 Prestonwood 乡村俱乐部短杆练习区域的完整的改造；爱荷华得梅因回声谷乡村俱乐部短杆练习区域的完整的改造。同时我们将帮助回声山谷建立一个Dan Campbel高尔夫学院。

As a renovation project, Yinhong No.6 Golf Club features the re-shaping of all green complexes, creation of memorable bunker styles, enhancement of strategy and landscaping. All of the greens have been fine shaped and 14 holes have been grassed. Don Habenicht, the shaper and Design Coordinator for Robbins & Associates is back on site completing the final bunker and fairway shaping. A demonstration to help the course have more exposure to Erosion control methods  was set on 10th May. Jacklin Seed and Profile Products will show how hydroseeding and mulching can be applied to reduce erosion and provide faster establishment of turf. This type of technology is in keeping with the major goals of the Yinhong #6 Golf Club to serve as a flood control area of Beijing City.

   银鸿6号高尔夫球场为改造项目,  设计师通过对整个果岭区域,沙坑特色和战略及景观进行改进达成业主对项目的高品质会员球场的定位并满足赛事要求。目前，球洞造型全部完成，14个球洞植草完毕，景观调整工作有步骤改进。5月10日球场引入防侵蚀技术展示区，我们联系杰克林公司和Profile将利用喷播和护根方式展示球场里的侵蚀控制和加快草坪根部稳固措施。这种措施与银鸿6号更好的发挥其对区域的防洪作用目标一致。
