Since its formation in 1991, Robbins & Associates has been providing professional service with personal involvement in every phase of design. From initial feasibility studies and site assessment, through design plans, to the observation of construction of your golf course and/or community, Robbins & Associates works to satisfy each client’s individual objectives and setting in a creative fashion. This includes golf courses and master plans in 24 states of the U.S. and 11 countries around the world.
When your project calls for celebrity name recognition and branding, Robbins has the experience of working and partnering with PGA, Senior Tour, and LPGA players to co-design a course that delivers a quality design with a personal touch. Robbins remains aware of developer expenses, no matter the budget, and exercises due diligence in the allocation of design and construction resources while still achieving the highest quality product.
Rick Robbins is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, American Society of Landscape Architects ( a Registered Landscape Architect in N.C. and S.C.), acts as Chairman of Membership for the American Society of Golf Course Architects and also served on the Board of Directors for the Center of Environmental Studies at Elon University. Robbins also keeps busy by serving on the North Carolina Golf Panel and the China Top Ten Golf Committee.
Headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, the office is within close proximity to a major, international airport that provides convenient connections to almost anywhere in the world. For example, it is only one stop between RDU airport and Shanghai or Beijing, China. All document production, project administration and communications are handled from this location or our liaison office in Beijing, China, making it easy for Robbins & Associates to respond to your needs.
Robbins & Associates provides a range of services that can begin early in the planning process and continue through construction and ongoing updates of the final project. Robbins & Associates has capabilities in golf course design, master planning and landscape architecture to offer a well-rounded suite of services that are each attended to with personal attention from the architect. Through our valued associates, , we offer Environmental Consulting to evaluate the design, construction and operation of the projects we design, including preparation of Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans.
We also have the capability to place the key people on the project site like highly qualified golf course shapers and construction management personnel. Our cooperation with Winstead Wilkinson Architects and Stewart Engineering has allowed Robbins & Associates to be able to work closely with clubhouse and housing designs, erosion control, street and utility design and all other civil engineering needs. For larger and more complex master planning and landscape design projects, has the staff and expertise to expand our services to meet any size of project.
