It seems that the demand by golfers for more comprehensive, larger and better quality areas for the practice of short-game play is increasing each year, especially in the US.  Robbins & Associates is involved with the design of 3 facilities that will have major renovations and additions made later this year.  The short-game practice areas at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC are going to be updated to match the quality of the greens renovation we did a few years ago and to correct some potential safety issues.  At Hillandale Golf Club in Durham, NC, we are working with the club owner and The First Tee of the Triangle Chapter to improve and upgrade their practice range and add better short-game teaching areas.  The 3rd project is for Echo vally Golf Club in Des Moines, IA.  They are considering an association with Dan Campbell Golf Academy and will need to create better practice facilities to be able to teach the important short-game shots correctly.
